The application may connect to an online server (Supabase) solely to fetch word lists and vocabulary content. This connection:

• Is used only to download word content for the learning levels
• Does not identify or track individual users

4. Permissions Used

The application requires the following device permission:

• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used to send optional learning reminders. Notifications can be disabled at any time through your device settings.

Important: This permission is used solely to deliver reminders. No permission is used to collect, store, or transmit personal data.

5. Local Data Storage

Learning progress and app settings are stored locally on your device using DataStore. No personal data is transmitted to external servers.

• Learning progress is stored only on your device
• No data is backed up to any server
• Uninstalling the app removes all stored data

6. What the Application Does NOT Do

To protect user privacy, the application explicitly states that it:

• Does not collect personal data of any kind
• Does not require or support user login or registration
• Does not access your contacts, messages, photos, or other personal files
• Does not track your location
• Does not record audio or access your camera

Users have full control over their data and permissions:

• Notification permission can be revoked at any time via device settings
• Learning progress can be cleared by clearing the app's data in device settings
• Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data

Word Learner is suitable for users of all ages. The application does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
